Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Yardy Vibes, Inc. ("YardyVibes," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use yardyvibes.com and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and — for organizers — business name, phone, website, bio, and brand images.
  • Purchase information: events and tickets purchased, order amounts, fees and taxes, and refund history. Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor; we never receive or store your full card number.
  • Organizer payout information: Stripe collects identity and bank details directly to verify organizers and pay them; we receive only account status (for example, whether onboarding is complete).
  • Location information: if you use the "near me" search and grant permission, your device's approximate location is used to find nearby events. Location searches you type are processed via Google's Places service.
  • Usage and device information: pages viewed, searches, referring pages, IP address, browser and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Communications: messages you send us, such as support requests.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide the Services: process orders, deliver tickets, enable event check-in, pay organizers, and maintain accounts.
  • Send transactional communications: order confirmations, tickets, event updates or cancellations, payout notices, and account emails.
  • Send marketing communications about events and features, which you can opt out of at any time via the unsubscribe link.
  • Prevent fraud and abuse: verify transactions, enforce ticket validity, and protect Users and the platform.
  • Comply with legal obligations, including tax collection and remittance.
  • Improve the Services through aggregate analytics.

3. How We Share Information

  • With organizers: when you buy a ticket, the event's organizer receives your name, email, and ticket details so they can operate the event (for example, door check-in). Organizers are required to use this information only for the event and in compliance with privacy laws.
  • With service providers that operate the platform on our behalf: Stripe (payments and payouts), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (website hosting), Resend (email delivery), and Google (maps and location search). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
  • For legal reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of YardyVibes, our Users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the Services (such as keeping you signed in and securing checkout) and to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterwards as required for legitimate business purposes — including tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance (for example, order and tax records are retained for the periods required by law). We then delete or de-identify it.

6. Security

We protect personal information with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, row-level database access controls, and least-privilege service access. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your ticket QR codes private.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may access and update your account information at any time from your account settings. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@yardyvibes.com; we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law, including the Florida Digital Bill of Rights and, for California residents, the California Consumer Privacy Act. Note that we may need to retain certain records (such as completed order and tax records) even after account deletion where the law requires. You can opt out of marketing email via the unsubscribe link in any marketing message; transactional emails (such as tickets and receipts) will still be sent.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact support@yardyvibes.com and we will delete it.

9. Where Information Is Processed

We are based in the United States and process information on servers located in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

Event pages may link to organizer websites and social media, and the Services embed Google Maps. Those third parties have their own privacy practices, which we do not control; the Google Privacy Policy applies to map and location features.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and where required by law we will provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
